ANARCHY

While I was never a punk, I grew up listening to punk rock bands. I like to believe that music plays an important role in the growth of people, and that much of what is in it, helps us forge a personality.

Beyond the complex (in some cases extremist perhaps) message that is immersed in this social and cultural movement, there is something about punk that captivated me and continues to do so to this day.

It is about "limitation".

I believe that the magic of punk is there, in the limitation that allowed that, with low resources of talent, production and other technicalities, a unique art can be created. An art that possesses an expressiveness, that transmits a wave of sensations, which I believe have to do with the innate and wildness of the human being. Sometimes I think that my work has to do a lot with punk, because to be honest, my potentiator has always been the limitation.

The objective of this personal project was to generate pieces that transmit the wild, disruptive and expressive essence of this movement. Taking into account that I have already approached this theme several times, it is a project that I take it as a closure, which allows me to find myself with new concepts.
